The boxelder bug is a very common bug across the United States. If the boxelder bugs do get inside of the house, there are some measures that you can take to remedy the situation. Crushing these bugs to kill them will actually cause a strong odor. You can use a vacuum or a shop-vac to clean up a bunch of them and then destroy the bag when you have done this. That way, you are able to avoid the stench of squishing these bugs. There are also bug products that you can purchase on the market to kill these insects.

These insects can be a bit of a pest, but you are able to both prevent and control the problem if it happens to you. You do not want this problem in your home as the insects can not only stain your fabric but they can also create bites that can irritate your skin. They can invade your house and become quite the annoyance.
